Private donations

SporTogether Foundation also carries out its projects thanks to the support of donations from private individuals and companies.

In particular, donations from private individuals help us concretely to reach people's hearts, involving every citizen closely.

Choosing to support us also gives you the opportunity to take advantage of tax benefits, which result in the choice of obtaining deductions and allowances, or by reducing your taxable income or the tax you have to pay when you file your income tax return.

Showing solidarity also offers advantages in terms of taxation.

As SporTogether Foundation is a non-profit and socially useful organisation, it can therefore receive donations from private individuals who can take advantage of the provisions dictated for third sector organisations, thus allowing for significant tax savings (deductions or deductibility).

Tax savings, in terms of deductions or deductibility, are allowed provided that the money donations are paid in a taxable form: through a bank (bank transfer, cheque, credit or debit card) or post office (payment via postal transfer or postal order), or according to other payment systems provided for by Article 23 of Legislative Decree 241/97.

On the other hand, it is not possible to obtain tax benefits for a contribution paid in cash, even if a donation receipt is issued by the organisation.

The deduction for individuals is 30% of the liberal contribution, for a total amount in each tax period not exceeding €30,000 (Art. 83, Legislative Decree 117/2017). The deduction from the total net income is possible up to 10% of the total declared income (Art. 83, Legislative Decree 117/2017).
